Climate Justice Group, Manchester Art Gallery, 2020-22

The MAG Climate Justice Group started meeting online during lockdown in 2020 and included gallery staff, artists and activists based in Manchester.

We started to explore how art and collections can help people learn from history, shape the future, scrutinise decision-making and encourage caring, collective action.

In 2022, Manchester Art Gallery decided not to fund the group longer-term, but you can still visit the gallery we curated together.
